Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhung is participating in the College of Health Sciences VinUniversity, as a Lecturer of Physiology. She graduated from Hanoi University of Pharmacy in 2016. Then, she had spent 5 years on her Ph.D. in Physiology at Yonsei University, Wonju College of Medicine. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on the molecular mechanism of high inorganic phosphate in some major diseases including vascular calcification in patients with chronic kidney disease as well as metabolic diseases. Her research has been published in the American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology, Kidney International, Molecules and Cells journal. Furthermore, her works have been recognized as the best research article among graduate students. Her objective as a lecturer is to stimulate medical students to develop their studying interests and critical thinking, particularly in Human Physiology. She greatly hopes with her experiences in research, she can highly provide students essential skills to conduct research relating to Physiology effectively.
